I bought the multicam shock cord to try a new method of mounting my trail camera to trees. The method involves a bowline at one end and then a series of figure eight knots along the cord. This shock cord works great. The loop "grabs" one of the knots and holds everything in place. The camo blends in very well too.
The shock cords that came on my “Lazy Rider” (you bikers out there will know what I’m talking about) had finally lost their stretch and I was looking for replacements, when I found that Paracord Planet had bulk cording, as well as the hooks so that you can make up your own cords! Who knew? I had purchased paracord from them for several years that I use in making custom knives (for the lanyards). Got the cords and hooks in, made up a couple to replace the old ones, and I’m ready to go again! And, man are these 1/4” cords strong! Just what I needed. Thanks, Paracord Planet!
