Description

Pepperell Braiding cord is made for coiling projects and crafts such as coiled baskets, fiber sculptures and more. Easy to use and works well with other crafting cord such as yarn, jute, cotton rope, and more. The coiling cord is made from 100% paper core bound in a fine polyester mesh knit. We recommend taping off the ends to prevent fray. Large-eye plastic needles are recommended for coiling and durable cutting shears as this cord is quite dense. Made in the USA.

sturdy & high quality cord

I ordered coiling cords in both 3/4” and 1/4” diameter for my basket projects. The 3/4” is perfect for a larger coil and easy to work with. The smaller 1/4” is quite firm and has a bit of resistance to grapple with, especially during the very beginning stages of creating a coiled piece. Both provide a nice sturdy structure for the finished piece and I will certainly be ordering again!
