Coiling Cord

this is my favorite stuff. when I ran out a while back, I thought "oh, I'll just knit and do other fiber arts instead of coiling baskets for a while, until I have some extra dough to buy more coil." well that was a nice thought and while I sure do love knitting it's simply not the same! luckily my dear family knows how much I love to make baskets, so they got me a fabulous gift certificate. I went ahead and stocked up on coil in all three sizes. I am so happy now. received my goodies from Paracord Planet right after Christmas and I'm already two baskets in on the 1/4" coil. no one can stop me now. I will coil a basket big enough to hold the whole world! and fill it with love! tl;dr: IF YOU MAKE BASKETS OR 3D FIBER ART YOU'RE GONNA WANT THIS STUFF. Paracord Planet....please never stop being so awesome.

I ordered coiling cords in both 3/4” and 1/4” diameter for my basket projects. The 3/4” is perfect for a larger coil and easy to work with. The smaller 1/4” is quite firm and has a bit of resistance to grapple with, especially during the very beginning stages of creating a coiled piece. Both provide a nice sturdy structure for the finished piece and I will certainly be ordering again!
